Midnight Sun creeps me out. It's all about how vampiry Edward is. I love it, but it's creepy.
Is anyone else creeped out by the Entertainment Weekly cover on www.twilightlexicon.com?

I love Edward on the cover, he really looks like a vampire.
Bella however, is far to tan for my liking on the cover.
However I'm sure if I was standing next to him I would look really tan too and I'm very very pale.

I... don't like the cover.  They don't look Edward and Bella there. They look like actors, not the characters, if that makes sense. But then, it's a photoshoot, so you do what the photographers say.

Not only that, but they look like actors with no chemistry. Not because they have no chemistry, but because someone only had a vague idea of who those characters really are. Thank goodness for trailers and scenes so we know it's not that bad!

I find the EW cover hilarious (RPattz's ripped-open shirt and lovely violet lipstick scare me ), but I like the concept; it's clearly a play on the whole vampire romance genre, and as far as I'm concerned, photographers have the artistic license to branch out a bit from the characters' actual personalities in order to suggest something broader (in this case, sort of a reinvention of the genre).

I suppose so, I see your point. I'm still not a fan of it.
I did, however, like the apple in Kristen's hand. Nice reference back to the cover of Twilight.

I thought the apple looked...I don't know...out of place I guess. And when I went back to look at it, Edward seemed more a poorly informed actor then a vampire.
I'm just glad I still have the books and my mental picture to sustain me until December.
