It's going to be very wild to see how the FLEET reacts to seeing a base star jump in. Not just the Old Man, but every person who can look out a frakking window. You can't exactly hide that, you know? 
I'm glad they had a episode that tied together the last few slow ones. They needed it.
I also think the 4 in hiding are better off announcing themselves, giving up their hiding, and trying to work something out. I doubt they will, but something's going to give, soon. And once one of them is revealed, they all will be revealed.

Eric Stoltz cast as Daniel Graystone (inventor of the Cylons) on Caprica.
EDIT: Looks like they've already posted this in the Caprica thread, but still, great news.
Ron Moore and Eick are getting some pretty big names to sign on for this show...BSG's critical-darling rep is undoubtedly contributing to this.

I'm enjoying the season so far, even if it's been mostly lacking an "atmo-jump" sense of thrills. To me, it all feels like this is the final buildup to an epic series of major revelations and wrap-ups.
And from a production point-of-view, Ron Moore has said many times that they have only so much money per season, and that sometimes, several episodes end up being shipbound talk-fests because the bigger ones (i.e., the New Caprica exodus) cost extra, and dipped into those other budgets.
So right now, I feel like we're in the economy-zone again (not necessarily a bad thing). These are all extremely solid, character-building, plot-advancing episodes...but essentially, they're saving money for something huge yet to come.
My only beef this season: Not enough Adama.
Oh, and yeah...your leg is toast, Gaeta. I'm amazed that it takes Anders shooting a dude for Starbuck to think of an acceptable way to handle the problem. I've always liked Gaeta, and I wish they had given him more to do than get shot in the leg, but the fallout-repercussions from this act are what I'm looking forward to seeing the most.
Tory, though...who knows how badly she's gonna hose things up while Roslin is doing the cancer-meds?

Well the conspiracy theorist in me says she will feign some sort of ignorance. And look for a way for the cylons to gain the upper hand. She may mean well but I have doubts she is going to juts toss them over ...

While this episode was slightly better than the previous few, what BSG is missing is: HUMANITY. There’s absolutely no mirth, no joy, no optimism to any of the characters or storylines. Everything, even the faith both Starbuck and Roslin have in finding Earth, is presented with an overbearing fatalism. This is not a true representation of humanity. And that's a problem because Moore has stated, explicitly, that "“the philosophy that has driven us since the beginning,” is to explore, “what would really happen in this circumstance? What would people really do — not what’s the dramatic thing not what’s the TV thing — What would really happen to these people? How would they really conduct themselves?”
With such hyper-drama, with the explicit decision to portray the most extreme actions every single time, Moore fails in his own stated goal to avoid the “dramatic thing” or “TV thing.” And the unbalanced approach is dragging the series into an abyss from which it simply cannot recover.

Well, assuming we find out what the deal is with Starbuck, who the fifth Cylon is, if Laura dies, and they find Earth within the next few episodes, what do you do with the last ten episodes?

Where the Centurions fit into the greater civil war is what interests me, though.
The separatist, more spiritual Cylons (Leoben, the Sixes, most of the Sharons) were advocates for Centurion and Raider rights against the more pragmatic Cylon set, who wanted to lobotomize the Raiders. There's probably some loyalty there, as evidenced by the fact that the Raiders haven't tried to take out the separatists yet.
But I still can't see the Centurions, who come off like a far dumber, fight-happy warrior class, fully getting behind the alliance with the Humans.
(But let's say you're Starbuck. A Hybrid says to you, "You're going to lead everyone to their doom." Perhaps it's time to take a step back and reevaluate.)
Also, to me, it now seems that Gaeta's likely impending leg-amputation at Cottle's hands is some sort of karmic payback from the universe for him perjuring himself at Baltar's trial. We'll see.

Actually, the Hybrid's complete wording is:
"You are the harbinger of death, Kara Thrace. You will lead them all to their end."
I agree, it could definitely be a split-meaning, but Starbuck should probably be a bit concerned (and likely is), and rethinking things over again about which sentence applies to which party (Human or Cylon).
Given that all of Kara's prophecies have come true to date, it should be interesting to see how this all shakes out in the wash, and in what specific fashion, later in the season.

Agreed, Of course it means to the end of thier:
1-Journey
2-part in this cycle
3-everyone dies! oh the humanity....wait er ok. Oh the cylo... not that doesn't work either.. um oh god there all dead!
*IF* the subtexts of the hybrid in razor are to be believed, he has seen this once or so already... and #1 will be followed by number 2. Everyone will be happy... then well see some scene 1000 year from then, when some brilliant mind creates a new form of life... >:)
