Now that's a mind scramble. I wonder if they're going to a variation of the old Lena Luthor, Pre-Crisis story. In those days, Lex had a sister named Lena who was adopted when he went evil as a teenager. She was renamed Lena Throul and had no idea that she was related to him, due to her young age at the time. Lex knew and Superman believed that this could be the key to redeeming his old friend. But she had to remain in the dark though she did eventually discover the truth.

Well I don't want to say too much but Gabriel is most aware of the relationship...My jaw is still stuck agape.

I thought that Lionel thought that Lex killed Julian when it was actually Lex's mother that killed the baby?
Now maybe Lionel knew the baby wasn't dead and then abandoned it. But from a few seasons ago, it seemed that Lionel genuinely felt sorry after realizing that he had blamed the wrong person for his entire life and that his and Lex's relationship might have been different if he had realized the truth.

Lionel knew that Julian wasn't dead and thus gave him up for adoption, but put the blame on Lex to avoid doing it to his wife. Lionel was trying to make Lex the man that he is today and protect his wife.

Here's all the spoilers Kryptonsite has for the next several episodes.

Episode #7-9: "Gemini" Air Date: December 13, 2007

Written By: Caroline Dries
Guest Stars: Michael Cassidy (Grant Gabriel)

- UPDATED 11/16/07: How and why Julian has managed to still be alive is revealed in this episode. His survival has ties to "Project: Gemini."
- Clark goes away for a few weeks, and has to explain where he and Kara have been.

- UPDATED 10/3/07 (Thanks T.F.!): Chloe and Jimmy are stuck on an elevator with a bomb, and Jimmy really doesn't understand why Chloe uses her one phone call to contact Clark.
- The "Gemini" in this title refers to a new experiment Lex is working on, much like Project: Ares and Project: Mercury before it.
- This episode has enough twists, turns, and surprises, you'd swear it was a season finale.
- Laura Vandervoort (Kara) does not appear in this episode.

- UPDATED 9/26/07: Title Posted. Please do not repost this on other websites without a link to KryptonSite.com.
- "Gemini" is not so much of a holiday episode per se, though story elements pertaining to the holidays do occur this time around. It's a backgound part of the story kind of like how the holidays fit in to the first Die Hard or Lethal Weapon movies.
- There are some very big revelations in this episode, including the return of a foe from the past. (No, not Brainiac - he's coming later)
- Look for some changes for at least one of Smallville's Season 7 couples in this one. (For those of you keeping track at home, those couples include Clark/Lana, Lois/Grant, Chloe/Jimmy, and Jimmy/Kara)

Well, I stand corrected. Looks like Julian is not the real deal, but a clone.

Episode #7-10: "Persona" Air Date: January 3, 2008

Guest Stars: James Marsters (Brainiac), Michael Cassidy (Grant Gabriel), Marc McClure (Dax-Ur)

UPDATED 11/15/07: Erica Durance (Lois) and Laura Vandervoort (Kara) do not appear in this episode.

- UPDATED 11/7/07: A spy camera report at the Hollywood North Insider website witnessed what appeared to be Michael Cassidy's Grant Gabriel getting gunned down.
- E! Online says "someone will die, and stay dead." Perhaps the death will happen in this episode?

- UPDATED 10/29/07: Movies' Jimmy Olsen, Marc McClure, plays Dax-Ur, that "other Kryptonian" we were talking about.

- UPDATED 10/24/07: Someone is shot in this story. Then again, this is Smallville, where people are shot at every other episode.

- UPDATED 10/9/07 (Thanks T.F.): Clark is so happy about his relationship with Lana that he tells her he feels like he could fly.
- James Marsters returns as Milton Fine/Brainiac in this episode. (That is, unless he appears sooner than that...)
- Lex has a major new business venture.
- There is another Kryptonian hidden somewhere on Earth, posing as a human as their alien nature has been taken away. Something like Professor Yana on Doctor Who, it sounds like.

- UPDATED 10/5/07: Title Posted. Please do not repost this on other websites without a link to KryptonSite.com.

"Siren" with Green Arrow and Black Canary.

Episode #7-12: "Fracture" Tentative Air Date: Jan. 31, 2008

UPDATED 11/15/07: Aaron Ashmore (Jimmy) does not appear in this episode.

- UPDATED 10/31/07: As with "Lexmas," Lex's mother Lillian factors in to the story.

- UPDATED 10/26/07: Remember how, for "Persona," we talked about someone being shot as if it was a common occurrence? Well, it happens again here, and this time, yet again, it's Lex.
- It sounds like this will be another "Lexmas"-style jaunt into Lex's psyche. Casting notices have gone out for "Alexander," which sounds like it will be a representation of Lex's younger self.
- Another role being cast is for a character named "Jacob Finn," but we don't know anything about him.
- Title Posted. Please do not repost this on other websites without a link to KryptonSite.com.

Episode #7-13: "Hero" Tentative Air Date: Feb. 7, 2008

- UPDATED 11/7/07: The character who makes a guest appearance is male.

- UPDATED 10/31/07: The guest character ends up saving the lives of two other characters and is quickly deemed a "hero."
- The guest character first exhibits powers in this story thanks to a Kryptonite plot device that may stretch your imagination a little bit, but it's still fun.

- Jimmy thinks this person's power is "cool," which makes Chloe question her decision to be so secretive about her own meteor-based ability.
- Erica Durance (Lois) does not appear in this episode.
- Lex tries to use this newly-supowerpowered person to his advantage.

- UPDATED 10/26/07: A character that fans have been wanting to see on Smallville for the past few seasons should be appearing in this one.
- Title Posted. Please do not repost this on other websites without a link to KryptonSite.com.

Episode #7-14: "Traveler" Tentative Air Date: Feb. 14, 2008

UPDATED 11/15/07: Erica Durance (Lois) does not appear in this episode.

UPDATED 11/11/07: Expect episodes #7-14 & #7-15 to explore some long-standing elements and arcs in the overall Smallville mythology. Things that happened in past seasons will finally come together, in a storyline heavily involving Clark as well as the Luthors.

UPDATED 11/7/07: Title Posted. Please do not repost this on other websites without a link to KryptonSite.com.

Episode #7-15: "Veritas" Tentative Air Date: Feb. 21, 2008

Guest Stars: James Marsters (Brainiac)

UPDATED 11/15/07: Lois and Jimmy work together on a story.
- In addition to Brainiac, another villain from Smallville's past might be back in this one.
- Chloe and Lionel have a confrontation about his true motivations.

UPDATED 11/7/07: If the WGA writers' strike continues through to the end of the season, this could be the season finale. It is said to end on some cliffhangers "just in case." Read the statement from Al Gough for more on that.

Hold on to your hats kids, Pete's coming back!

from K-site

UPDATED 12/6/07: Finally, IGN.com has confirmed who the "hero" will be - Pete Ross, returning to Smallville for the first time since Season 3's "Forsaken."
- Pete won't really like the changes that have gone on since he left town. He's surprised to learn that Chloe, Lana, and Lionel all know Clark's secret - and he's especially surprised to find Lionel Luthor hanging out at the Kents' home.
- Much like a Season 1 "freak of the week" story, Pete obtains temporary "Elastic Lad"-like stretching powers thanks to something involving meteor rocks. He's using these powers when he saves the lives of Kara and Jimmy.
- Lex uses Pete's past feelings for Chloe to his advantage.
- Pete may have some unresolved bad feelings about keeping Clark's secret and the direction it has taken in his life.

Hmmm...I'll be damned. Guess it was Pete. I'm surprised that he'll be Elastic Lad and not Jimmy since that's his gig.

Actually that's not bad, all things considered. I mean, yeah I would perfer it if it was Jimmy, but I don't see a problem with Pete having the power.

The Shark has lapped Smallville a couple of times but the show manages to bounce back. Pete having powers is an iffy choice IMO and I am weary about how this will play out.

But in all sincerity I am more than happy that Pete is returning even if just for one episode. There seems to be an abundance of estrogen around Clark lately and it will be nice to see another dude for the poor boy to relate to again. tongue

I am happy that Pete is returning. It's been long overdue. I wonder if this will be a 1 time thing or if he'll be back on a somewhat regular basis.

Nah, I think this is a one time deal, unless he appears in the final episode.

I could see him possibly having an arc that covers 2-3 epiodes, but I'd be surprised to see him stick around longer than that.
