I have watched from day 1 BTW and I think she's still flat ,but maybe it's the actress.  I had missed that part when she got them powers though. Thanks!

Just posting a little adios here. Ive been doing the message board thing now since 2003. At one point I posted on 22 different message boards at one time. Over time Ive gradually lost interest/gotten way too busy in my real life. TFN was one of my few remaining message boards but as with all good things this too must end. Was nice gabbing with you people and I'll always have fond memories of the Star Wars ATOC and ROTS spoiler sections.

I don't think she's flat, either. It's Lois and Lana whom I really don't like. Lois goes after every guy she meets (except Clark), and Lana just WON'T DIE. As much as I love Lois in other Superman films and tv shows (I think the best Lois of them all was Terri Hatcher in Lois and Clark), in Smallville, I think she's incredibly annoying.
SO happy they put Chloe in the comics!! She deserves it.

It was a good episode. The look on Clark's face when Lana pretended to pick Bizarro over him was priceless.
If Bizarro and Clark are opposites, shouldn't Bizzaro despise Lana instead of being in love with her?

It was a great episode and my guess is that if you have Clark DNA then it makes you love Lana. And it too bad about the character that died as well.

Yea, that scene reminded me how Batman's parents were killed. You don't think the producers will bring back that character? We don't know if he's even dead yet though.

I really liked this episode, particularly the ending with Lana and Clark all awkward-like. I only wish the show weren't being so serious serious serious. They need to lighten things up!

Maybe at the end of the episode Clark and Lana did have sex but Bizarro was better. That was the awkward feeling.

Not quite. Initially, Bizarro had no use for Lana until he returned and with the memories of Clark floating around in his brain, he was able to understand what Clark saw in her. They're mostly opposite in how they conduct themselves. Bizarro is willing to do whatever he wants without fear of reprisial. Whereas Clark is afraid to take that step necessary to become Superman. This is because Bizarro here is a Phantom who created a body using Kryptonian DNA, but because Kryptonian DNA is so complex, clones don't turn out to be 100% perfect. Superboy/Kon-El/Conner Kent needed human DNA in order to exist, so when Paul Westfield of Project Cadmus went to use his DNA to stablize the Kryptonian portion of Superman's DNA, Lex had his inside man Carl Packard replace it with his (Lex's) DNA. All so he could lay claim to controling Superman. In the case of Bizarro, he was created using a DNA scan of Superman's biology, but the equipment couldn't dechiper Kryptonian DNA. So when the clone came out, it's skin turned into a white stone like appearence. His brain is also not exactly "wired" right, so he says and sees things in a backwards manner. He can sense and feel the same type of emotions that Clark has, but his mindset is that of a child. He believes that destruction is perferable to restoration. He'll say good-bye when he means hello. But because he retains Clark's memories, he has his same feelings for Lois and Lana that Clark does. Same way with Bizarro Lois.

I'm pretty sure that tonight's episode was a re-run. As far as I know, new episodes aren't slated to air until early to mid March.
