I think that's true for many of us.
Somewhere in the special features they mention that they attempted to get Soundwave in there, but couldn’t find a way to do it which would either make sense or do the character justice (don’t recall the exact wording).
The character Frenzy was the result – a kind of Soundwave-lite.
I'm still bitter that they removed Arcee from the characters.

Frenzy was basically a synthesis of Soundwave and one of his cassettes.
Correct???
If I remember correctly, Soundwave's cassettes were...

EDIT: I wonder if someone is willing to do a live action MASK movie. If handled correctly, it could be interesting. I just hope they never do GOBOTS or Rock Lords.

Apparently we're in for a long wait for the sequel since from what I read on the Amp thread on the Strike, the Sequel script wasn't written before the Strike hit.

Seibertron has learned that the movie for the new animated series will air on December 26th. I'll watch it with an open mind but won't get my hopes up.

Well, so far the game is decent, although I would have made some changes.
I would have tightened the controls more and given it a better framerate, but the gameplay is solid, and the missions are fine. Some of them can be a bit frustrating though.

I am confused. Why does the strike halt the sequel?
They didn't need writing in the first film why would they for the sequel?

Got the soundtrack for christmas- though I must say I found it odd that over half of the tracks are labeled as being a different version than the one in the film- though it seems in at least some cases it's merely a case of being an extended arrangement (which isn't necessarily a bad thing, as one such track is the "Arrival on Earth" piece, which, let's be honest, is the only reason to buy the CD in the first place ).
Also as a heads up, the new show debuts this saturday.
