what the crap that's not in the book at all!! Lewis doesn't even hint at a Caspian\Susan relationship!! oh well...shock gone it's not that bad. I mean later in the series they said that Susan started only caring about boys and make-up and parties, so I guess she just needed more character development.

I just got back from seeing it. I give it a 9/10 just to be safe...
I thought it was really good and it had its moments here and there. Some of those moments felt LOTRish. Like when the trees came alive and start stomping about, the first thing that came to my mind was Fangorn Forest and the words "Save the Trees". lols. When the water wave came and formed into the face of a man, I wanted to yell "Gandalf" or "Saruman".
The good thing about this movie is because there weren't any of those annoying beavers (like you see in every Bell commercials), but I think the Centaurs ruled this time around. When they jumped on the soliders in the end battle, I was rooting for them. I now have a thing for centaurs. Woot.
I am glad the four siblings got to do more than just stand around like in the last movie. It was sweet. The prince especially. I liked those flying birds...awsomeness. Note: another lotrish moment was when they were carrying the humans in their claws and dropping them off through the night on the castle tops.
I was expecting more to do with the White Witch...oddly, I wasn't expecting her to make an appearance but it was interesting that Peter was seduced by her just as his brother Edmond was in the first one. Ironically, it was Edmond who finished her off by stabbing her thus relieving his bro from her which was kind of a nice touch. I kinda wanted to see more of her but again, having Ed finish her off showed closure between him and the WW.
uh... It was good to see the ol Lion too.
My only gripes was...hmph...I dunno. There wasn't too much that bugged the hell out of me...unless I blame the mouse with swords, I think that was a little over kill. lols the mouse reminded me of Puss'n Boots from Shrek.
The beginning was quite good, loved the chase sequence and it felt very epic until the prince glanced back and then turned back to what was in front and wham...smacks his face into the tree branch. ha.
Overall, it was really good.

Cool, thanks for the review! I'd go see it today, but my wife is out of town and we promised each other we wouldn't see it without the other. Until then I'll read all the highlighted text I can get my eyes on!

Saw this tonight, it was good but not great. The scenery was amazing, the effects were cool and most of the fighting was top notch. However, the opening way way too slow, they way overdid the slow motion close-up effect, the timeout during the one on one battle was really stupid, and I didn't buy the Caspian/Susan love aspect. They looked at each other a grand total of two times and all of a sudden the viewer is supposed to connect with them being all into each other, that didn't work for me. So, like I said, good, but not as good as the first one.

The only thing I can think of that I didn't care for was the constant switching between very bright and very dark scenes towards the beginning of the film. It was a bit jarring on the eyes.

I just saw it this afternoon.......and I have to say. It came as about as close as you could get to the perfect film! I mean it had everything in it. Action, Emotion, Drama, a little bit of Romance....... And more action!
I was in pure ecstasy throughout the whole film! I also started crying at least four times (it's very rare for me to cry even once when I'm seeing stuff at the theater.)
Reepicheep was absolutely fantastic. Both animation wise, and character wise
And I can't wait for VODT to come out!
