Body count was pretty high for the Wraith- hard to really count that. SGC lost a couple people to Wraith feeding, and at least 1 scientist and the rest of Shep's strike force were lost on Midway.

Also(haven't really spoiled myself on the Kindred stuff so if this is covered in that please give me a warning lol), was there an error in the preview for next week? Because I thought the annoucer guy said a "replicator trap", and I was under the impression the Kindred had nothing to do with replicators... tongue Like I said, if this is addressed in spoilers for the episode, just leave a warning or something so I can avoid them. I was just curious if that was an error in the preview and/or if anybody else noticed it tongue

According to gateworld- The Replicator reference may be an error on the part of the network, as we have had no previous indication that the Replicators play any part in this episode.

Todd scenes = win. Wish they'd kept the mint line in.

That episode was just made of win:

Michael = Awesome
Todd = Awesome
Carson = dancing dancing

Only problem is the focus on Tey'La. She's the weakest character and actor on the entire show, so any episode that focuses on her is generally poorer. Luckily the aforementioned spoilers make up for it.

Did I miss an episode? What's this Hoff (at first I thought they were saying Hoth) planet and this cure that Atlantis allegedly helped them synthesize? I have no memory of this plotline.

I really loved Todd's reaction to the one line.

"Maybe we came here to kill you instead."

"Did you?
"

Loved the playful, sarcastic curious delivery to it.

I think that was an episode in Season 1, "Poisoning the Well".

On The Kindred Pt. 1: I thought this was a really cool episode. The Michael arc gets better and better, I think. Todd is quickly becoming a badass guest star(his interaction with the team in this episode was great). I'm interested to see where they go with this, though.

Yeah, it was Poisoning the Well in Season 1. Atlantis helped refine the Hoffan chemical, and they used a terminally ill Hoffan volunteer to test it by having the volunteer fed to Steve the Wraith captive in Atlantis, which killed Steve. Unfortunately it's found to also kill 50% of the humans inoculated by it, but even knowing this the Hoffans overwhlemingly support mass inoculations, and the SGA team pulls out before the Wraith attack (as they're coming to wipe out the Hoffans after finding out about the drug).

Thanks for the recap. I vaguely remember it now. But really, re introducing this long forgotten plotline 3 season's later? Seems kind of like a cheap shot. But what can I say, Beckett's back!

It's not uncommon for SG to pick up on old dangling plotlines. SG-1 revisited the put-of-phase concept from Crystal Skull, what? 6 or 7 seasons later?

Well, that was stupid. What was up with Michael telling Beckett "he had served his purpose." What purpose did he serve?

He's had him for some time--Clone Carson's done a good amount of work with him on the anti-Wraith feeding virus, and likely done a good amount of the hybrid work. What more's he useful for? Michael's plans now seem to hinge upon Teyla's kid. Carson's not really needed any more: purpose served.

doh! Of course. Beckett had that whole monologue where he talked about how he cooperated. It's just the way Micheal said it, I thought he was implying that Beckett was somehow part of his plan to capture Teyla. When of course, that wasn't the case.
