This is actually imported from the Amphitheatre thread, but it's worth taking up here. I'll get it started with one of my earlier posts:
  
Wizards & Warriors
This 1983 TV show starred Jeff Conaway, Julia Duffy, Walter Olkewicz, Duncan Regehr and Clive Revill. Never taking itself too seriously, the show featured heroes and villains battling over control of the dragon-shaped Land of Aperans. The sword-and-sorcery show was ahead of its time, however, and was cancelled after airing only eight times on CBS.
Ahead of it's time, my muscular buttocks! And yep, you read that right: Clive "Boba Fett" Revill 
Also, here's a link to images from Dungeons & Dragons - the Movie, THE worst fantasy movie made, IMO. And I'm a D&D-er, too!

I haven't ever seen D&D, but everyone says it's so bad I am becoming increasingly tempted to see it for myself.

It was bad... but it did have this line: "Oh look, I cut you. What a shame" and I used it for a while after the movie when slicing potatoes and such.
What about that plot they had in Hercules the legendary adventures for a while, Kevn Sorbo was actually Hercules. o_O Keep in mind, this was after the Hercules vs Giant Chicken fight so they were really scraping the bottom of the barell for ideas.
And any time Michael Hurst decided to wear drag, you could tell you were in for some atrocious TV moments. Remember that episode where Hercules had to helpm a girl win a dancing contest?
If you don't, i seriously envy you.

I actually liked D&D.
What can I say? I was young and foolish and lapped up any fantasy based stuff that was thrown at me. Plus that princess/empress girl reminded me of Queen Amidala and I was waiting impatiently for Episode 2.

Red Sonja
The Encyclopedia of Fantasy gave Red Sonja a scathing entry. The main criticism was that it was a "B-movie" with bad characterization, bad acting and an entirely clichéd display of swords and sorcery. Schwarzenegger himself even said "It's the worst film I have ever made." And he joked "Now, when my kids get out of line, they're sent to their room and forced to watch Red Sonja ten times. I never have too much trouble with them."
In particular, the Encyclopedia accuses the movie of being homophobic and for purposely portraying homosexuality as a negative, evil trait. Gerden is portrayed as a lesbian whose rivalry with Sonja is based partly on the fact that Sonja once rejected her sexual advances. Likewise, the wizard is depicted as gay; one scene involves him accidentally conjuring up a homoerotic image.
