That's not Deathstroke. That's just a toy that Mattel put out.

It's not Deathstroke. The Mattel rep explained to me that there were two or three figures they created to be in the assortments that are not actually in the movie. This was done to enhance the diversity of the line and give kids more guys to play with or fight Batman.
The Deathstroke looking guy is just some type of generic ninja.
I repeat, no Deathstroke in DK the movie.

As interesting as it would be to see the character are we fans not tired of people taking interesting characters watering them down and shoving them haphazardly in a story they don't belong in simple to please fans (see X3, Wolverine etc...)? Slade seems like the kind of character that would carry a plot single handedly or at the least be a strong secondary character, and since we know already that there are already two primary characters to fill out the villainous side of things do we really want more??

I'm not a very big fan but The Dark Knight looks quite good, I can't wait to see Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker.

The mainstream fan generally only knows what has been displayed to them. Most people are oblivious to the fact that there has been more then one Robin, or that the original "Boy Wonder"(or "girl wonder" depending on the comic) broke away from Batman to become a lone hero.
