AICN and comicbookresources both had to remove the pic at Warner Bros. request so I have to take it down as well.

Personally, if Rachel dies, I won't care. I think Rachel's a dry, flat character. She was as Katie Holmes, and from the new preview, she looks to be the same. I know there are people who like her - or maybe not - but I don't think she is a strong character, and is definitely a horrible match for Bruce.

But then again, I'm a die-hard Batman/Wonder Woman fan because of watching the Justice League Unlimited cartoon, so maybe I'm biased. Still, I saw Batman Begins before I watched JLU, and I still thought she was a bad match. I just hope Maggie does a better job, but we'll see.

I'm one of those rare fans who thought Katie Holmes did a fine job in BB, and that her Rachel Dawes character humanizes and grounds Bruce in a very convincing way. The scene in the car in which she slaps Bruce across the face -- twice! -- and tells him his father would be ashamed of him is extremely formative to the Batman character. She delivers her lines with conviction and style. I fail to see what problem so many fans have with her. All the same, I'm a Maggie G fan so I'm looking forward to her performance in TDK.

I didn't think Holmes' performance was great but I didn't think it was as bad as some make it out to be. That said, I think Maggie will do a fine job this time around.

I can't believe I missed the damn Two-Face pic... That sux.

As far as Katie vs. Maggie goes... I didn't really mind Katie, she's not great, but she wasn't horrible either, and Maggie is a fine actress, I just wish they'd get someone just a little more attractive.

EDIT: Nevermind, found the pic... Man, if that's real, this movie and it's sequel are going to be sick. In more ways than one.

I think Katie Holmes' performance was poorly received because of just how well everyone else did. It's not exactly an easy task to hold your own with the likes of Bale, Caine, Freeman, Fox, Wilkinson, Oldman, etc. She didn't give a bad performance at all, it just wasn't up to par with everyone else's, and thus had a negative effect.

The Dark Knight TV Spot #3

If you look closely on the large version, you can see the logo of ABN Amro, a Dutch bank, on the left side of Joker's gun. Didn't know they had those in Gotham City.
