That sounds pretty cool. I wonder if both movies are successful whether a Hulk vs. Iron Man movie is a possible future project?

Given that they are hinting strongly at the Mandarin in Iron Man for a sequel and the Leader in an Incredible Hulk sequel. Wouldn't be surprised if they had Mandarin and Leader teaming up in a Iron Man/Hulk movie

BBC and Sky News here in the UK have been showing footage of the stars arriving in Leicester Square for the London premiere. Sky showed a film clip of Iron Man's first flight. It looked great!

I've seen it here in NZ. I quite enjoyed it. Be sure to stay until after the credits for an extra scene.

Now you tell me...
Just seen it in the UK. Really loved it - especially the final scene (before the credits) - the press conference, and the agent finally saying the acronym I was waiting to hear SHIELD. Loved it all, but those two bits were some of my favourites, along with Iron Man's first flight, and the battle. Out of interest who played the Variety Fair (IIRC) Reporter/Journalist at the start?

Yeah, it's after all the credits, it's brief, but awesome. Just got back from a 9:30 showing, and it's a really enjoyable flick- Downey and the whole cast are generally excellent and there's a good balance of humor and serious stuff.
The only weakness of the film is that the villain's storyline, while not terrible, is pretty standard and the transition to villany isn't as well handled as other aspects of the film. I kinda wish they didn't even use the Iron Monger in this movie- I was really enjoying ev erything else prior to that.
And for those who want to know, the cameo goes something like this:
Stark arrives back at his apartment at night after the press conference, to find a security panel flashing improperly and the Jarvis computer voice to be malfunctioning. A figure stand sin shadow in front of the window.
Figure: " 'I am Iron Man'...you think you're the only superhero out there? You've just entered into a new universe."
Stark: "Who are you?"
The figure steps into the light.
Figure: "Nick Fury, Director of SHIELD. I'm here to talk to you about the Avenger Initiative."
And that's the end of it. I think it'd be hilarious if they just kept tagging him in an uncredited cameo at the end of the credits for every Marvel movie from this point Gotta love how his two sentences establish the Marvel UNIVERSE, his name, the Avengers and (possibly) The Initiative..

I'm hoping to catch it tomorrow and so far it's getting stellar reviews from the critics.

One of the best superhero movies EVER and a damn fine film overall. It's beautifully crafted, with moments of soaring exhileration, palm-moistening suspense (and quease-inducing vertigo!), heroic combat, believable villains and humorous, humanistic character moments. Plus its internal logic is, as far as I can discern, flawless. I give it four and a half stars out of five; it loses a half-star only because the climactic end battle did not quite match the epic awesomeness of some of the earlier action sequences. The post-credit scene appears to still be a well-kept secret; I was the only person left in the theater to see it -- but I cheered anyway! Tell all your friends: This is the superhero movie to beat all superhero movies.

Just got back from an 11:20 pm showing. Very impressed. The cast was great, but Downey really made the movie. His one-liners were perfectly delivered and he really was a great Tony Stark. Stayed after the credits and loved that scene. Definitely considering seeing this again one more time in theaters.

Thoroughly enjoyed the 10:20 viewing I caught tonight. The theater was packed, and there was a lot of cheering through the whole film.
I think it was handled well. Casting was amazing.
