Been slow waiting for a sufficient number of votes for some brackets, mainly.

Anyways, touching on th episodes of recent brackets...

-Origin, I loved- it's really a great Jackson episode since he goes all out trying to verbally confront the Doci with logic and reason. Plus Cam's solution using the kawhoosh is great.

-Proving Ground was neat, giving us yet another pre-BSG BSG cameo. Be nice to see these recruits pop up again now as semi-experienced soldiers.

-The Powers That Be was also good for "Jackson verbally to the rescue", it wa sone of those "go get 'em, Daniel!" eps, plus it really helped develop Vala as she struggles to try and keep healing people and the building fatigue of it.

-New Order, part 1 was interesting as far as the Goa'uld negoiations go, but not a top 20 ep, IMO.

-Reckoning part 1, meanwhile, felt rushed, like 2 episodes crammed into one as they rushed to get thing set up for part 2. It would have been nice if they had slipped Dakara into earlier episodes, at least by mention, so it would have more impact and be less out of the blue to see the Jaffa try to take it.

-Between Two Fires- really dug this one, poor arrogant Tollan.

-The First Ones, good stand alone ep, though it should have been this one called Enemy Mine, not the later followup episode wink

-The Dveil You Know, ah, Sokar, aka Anubis v1.0 wink A shame they finally introduced this badass new Goa'uld, but went ahead and killed him righta way, and instead brought back the, IMO weaker, villian of Apophis AGAIN. Though, to be fair, they actually managed to make Apophis kind of a cool villian for once, so it's not a total loss.

-Seth, gets a bit of flack, but I like "real world" episodes like it, so it's still enjoyable.

-Beachhead, ah, the Supergate- an idea I'd wanted tos ee for some time actually done, and in a very cool and unexpected way. Kudos.

-Prodigy, another good one, sorta a prelude to the later Proving Ground episode. Also Atlantis better get around to explaining the connection between the energy insects here and the ones in "The Defiant One".

-Ethon, just an amazing episode, when that laser goes right through the shields and through the ship, I think there was a collective "holy crap!" emitted by all the viewers.

-Stronghold, one of the better Cameron-centric episodes, it felt like one of the earleier episodes of SG-1 in tone and style, which was nice. And Cam's balls-out charge into battle was crazy, cool and funny all at once.

-Lifeboat, one of those standalone episodes that ended up being way better than it probably should have been, thanks to Shanks' acting skills.

-Flesh and Blood, I dug the flashbacks to the Korolov explosion, with Daniel's last-second escape, Cam's dash to escape as well as Checkov's willingness to beam nukes at the first opportunity. The fall of Chulak was also neat to see, as brief as it was, and the Ori ships' "Ha'tak popper" blasts are still spectacular, as is the collision at the end.

-Need, an interesting episode, but not one of my favorites. Well executed for the most part, though I don't like the notion that it implies the Goa'uld are evil because of the sarcophogus. I don't buy the "they're evil cause they're drug addicts" suggestion.

Seth over Beachhead:
Something about the older episodes makes me like this one a lot more than Beachhead. Seth was good with the sneaking around and action. I thought Beachhead was a little too choppy.

Ethon over Prodigy:
Ethon I liked because of the space battle with the Premetheus. And the team's reaction to each other when they found out everyone was safe was good to see.

Stronghold over Lifeboat:
Although Michael Shanks did a awesome job in Lifeboat, Stronghold's ending battle scene stole the show for me.

Flesh and Blood over Need:
It took me longer to pick between these two than the previous three. I liked Flesh and Blood more because it was the second parter of the awesome cliffhangar from season 9.

Just as a correction- though the episode title is correct, the image, summary and plot link for The Fourth Horseman part 2 was initially posted incorrectly- I accidentally included the info for part 1, but it is supposed to be part 2 in that match.

So sorry for any confusion that might have caused- if you thought it was part 1 and making it part 2 changes anyone's choice, you're welcome to PM me with a correction.

The post had been edited to reflect the proper info now.
