From what I've seen, Seamus and Dean are also not in the film.

Disregarding the other rumors for a second, I would be very upset if they cut Dumbledore's funeral. I think it's a key scene that needs to be in the film.

If they do something that stupid and try to end it like OotP, I officially give up on the films.

Ditto. There is no reason to cut that. Maybe the extravagance yes but not the whole thing.

Absolutely. I'm fine if they trim down the scene a bit but the emotion that filled the bookwas in the book has to be in the film.

Pretty sure Dean will be in it (If this is yet to be posted it could contain minor spoilers I guess):

Warner Bros Press Release posted:
In Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Voldemort is tightening his grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was. Harry suspects that dangers may even lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching. Together they work to find the key to unlock Voldemort’s defenses and, to this end, Dumbledore recruits his old friend and colleague, the well-connected and unsuspecting bon vivant Professor Horace Slughorn, whom he believes holds crucial information. Meanwhile, the students are under attack from a very different adversary as teenage hormones rage across the ramparts. Harry finds himself more and more drawn to Ginny, but so is Dean Thomas. And Lavender Brown has decided that Ron is the one for her, only she hadn't counted on Romilda Vane’s chocolates! And then there’s Hermione, simmering with jealously but determined not to show her feelings. As romance blossoms, one student remains aloof. He is determined to make his mark, albeit a dark one. Love is in the air, but tragedy lies ahead and Hogwarts may never be the same again.

Dumbledore's funeral is one of the best scenes in the book and it is a good way to end the film. hagrid's part always makes me cry.

I've scoured the Net looking for info on the Funeral, but no luck. There's still so much mystery surrounding this movie, even though principal photography ended in May. The role of Scrimgeour still is not known to be in the film or not, nor is the adult Tom Riddle, and there is no mention of Dumbledore's funeral anywhere that I can find.

Danial mentions it in an interview, I saw it the other day and apparently it had been out for awhile. I'm get anxious to know who's going to have the trailer. My money's on it being with Dark Knight but not completely sure. Hopefully some info of substance will be giving soon.

Maybe it's just me, but after giving it some thought, I'm not upset that the Funeral itself apparently isn't going to be in the film.
I think it would be a powerful visual simply to show the White Tomb without the funeral itself.

The things of significance that occur in the scene are Harry, Ron & Hermoine making their pact to look for Horcruxes & Harry breaking up with Ginny; which can be accomplished in other scenes.

While I'd prefer to see the funeral I could settle for that. I will be dissapointed if there is no mention/visual of the tomb/burial whatsoever.

Well, in Deathly Hallows, Harry exhumes Albus to get the wand, so conceivably the tomb at least will be shown to establish the setting.
