Okay, but doesn't Harry open the tomb to find the wand missing? Either way the tomb is a rather crucial plot point in DH.

IIRC its Voldemort who opens the Tomb (I seem to recall this was presented in the book through Harry's visions so it may not be seen much at all...but I could be mistaken).

It is a crucial plot point. Harry does witness Voldemort breaking into DD's tomb to steal the Elder Wand through a vision. It occurs just after Harry makes the decision to continue the pursuit of Horcruxes rather than pursuing Hallows (while they are at Shell Cottage).
But no, Harry never opens DD's tomb himself. However, at some point the Wand is returned to DD's tomb...after the events of the story.

More pictures, but no plotpoints. No trailer yet either, which is bad.

Hopefully, no trailer doesn't equal problems with the film...they need to get the ball rolling on the marketing. Not one of my friends knows that a Harry Potter movie is coming out this year, yet all of them know Twilight is.

I am willing to bet that you will see a trailer with The Dark Knight. Its one of the biggest movies of the summer and its one of Warner Bros' biggest of the year.

If we all remember last year correctly, the OOTP trailers didn't really start coming out till 2 to 3 months prior of the movie release. (And more and more people know what Twilight is because MTV is pushing it hardcore. Plus the book series is exploding amazingly well. I just read it and am so happy to have another series to love and read now that HP is over.)
I'd have to re-read DH but I thought the only one who could weild the elder wand was the one who killed the previous owner. Hence why Snape had to be the one to kill DD.

IIRC thats what Voldemort thought as well but the wand wasn't working entirely for him. Harry discovers that its not the person who kills the previous owner who becomes the rightful owner of it but the person who defeats the previous owner. Malfoy disarmed Dumbledore before Snape could kill him so he was the rightful owner...until Harry snuck into the Malfoy's house and disarmed Draco. Despite the fact Draco never took possession of the Elder Wand he was still the rightful owner and that right was passed on to Harry when he defeated Malfoy. Voldemort was unaware of this turn of events so killing Snape was a needless effort and thus the wand never worked properly for him.

That's right, and this is why I need to re-read all the books again. lol

Yeah I'm about at the point where I'm itching for a teaser and The Dark Knight seems like a good bet as to when we'll see one.

I completely agree! Dark Knight seems to be the best bet at this point, but I'm crossing my fingers just in case.

You never know, they could tack it onto some small movie just to get the audiences. It's been done.

That would be so great if they stuck it in front of some obscure indie film and nowhere else.
As unlikely as that is to actually happen..
