I think Kelsey Grammar -- in X3 "Beast" mode -- would make an awesome Scrimgeour. devil

Liam Neeson or Brian Cox would also be good.

A few items of news:

Moaning Myrtle will not be appearing in HBP

It is possible that John Williams will be doing the schore for the film, yet Warner Bros have not confirmed this

There will be no HBP trailer on the Prince Caspian reel, despite what you may hear to the contrary.

And that concludes this edition of the Daily Prophet

Since when did I become the deliverer of news, anyway? confused

John Williams set for Harry Potter 6?

Williams, now 76, was conductor of the Pops from 1980 to 1993. According to industry reports, he remains a busy man, with soundtracks for "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," "Jurassic Park IV," and "Superman: Man of Steel" all scheduled for his touch.

Mugglenet quotes that article, Conor, but there's been nothing official from Warner Bros as yet.

LONDON, England (AP) -- A British teenage actor playing a minor role in the upcoming "Harry Potter" film was stabbed to death during a brawl in London on Saturday, police said.

Rob Knox, 18, was stabbed after he got caught up in a fight outside a bar in southwest London early Saturday, London's Metropolitan Police said in a statement.

Knox plays Ravenclaw student Marcus Belby in the upcoming film "Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince," the sixth installment of the popular series set for release in November.

Warner Bros., the studio that is producing the film, said it was shocked by the news.

Knox was one of five young men taken to various hospitals after the brawl, police said. Among them was a 21-year-old who has since been arrested on suspicion of murder.

The fight did not appear to be gang-related, police added, but it puts the number of violent teenage deaths in London at 14 so far this year.

So sad rose

Though when I saw the headlines "Harry Potter Star" I thought it would be Dan Radcliff

An update on Rufus Scrimegour, I did some checking and this is what I found on the wiki.

Wikipedia article posted:
After Bill Nighy expressed an interest in appearing,[70] Yates confirmed that Nighy would be his first choice for the role of Minister for Magic Rufus Scrimgeour, providing the character made it into the final screenplay.[71] Although no further reports have been released, Yates told Wizard that he was "struggling with [fitting Scrimgeour in the script] at the moment, and he's in one moment and he's out the next."[

Since it's being filmed right now (NB Principal filming is finished), I'm sure we'll here more but it's great that it WILL BE Bill Nighy! dancing

There's also talk that John Hurt will be returning as Mr ollivander, though that's unconfirmed like the Bill Nighy news.

Ollivander has a pretty significant role in Deathly Hallows, so that's good news!

He's not in HBP, isn't he? We only hear him scream.

I've heard that Prof. Trelwaney was cut from HBP. I guess she won't be telling Harry anything important to the plot. confused

I've also yet to hear anything about Crabbe and Goyle. It would be strange to exclude them after their inclusion in so many other potter films.

Finally I've heard rumors that they cut Dumbledores Funeral?
