I saw 10 minutes of footage from the movie, and Wall-E didn't talk at all. But the way his facial expression and sounds came across like he was talking.
Another forum says there's little talking, so I'm happy.

I'm rather worried that this film isn't going to be all that great. I was at the panel at Comic Con and watched the footage, but while half of me was excited, the other half wasn't all that intrigued. Who knows; it may turn out to be a flop, but it might be brilliant. We'll have to wait and see.

I can't wait for this film to come out! Looks like the Pixar animation will be great, intersting storyline, and not to mention Wall-E is adorable!

It looks like it will be a good movie with maybe a hint of sadness here and there. The concept also seems interesting enough and new enough to capture audiences. And, in what appears to be a unanimous opinion, Wall-E is adorable.

This is probablly the only movie I'd consider actually seeing in the theaters.
Anyone else reminded of Short Circuit's "Number 5"?

Not meaning to be a downer, but this movie fails to capture my interest. Maybe it's because I've seen the trailer in front of every single movie I've seen this summer and am sick to death of it. But while everyone else is exclaiming how adorable the robot is, I just think he's been over-designed for maximum would-be cuteness, which to me isn't cute at all. Or maybe I'm just getting cynical.

I thought it was really good. It was cutesy and it made me laugh on several occasions. A brilliant children's film, and it was wonderful and refreshing not to hear any spoken dialogue for much of the film. Pixar's most creative film to date, and a truly great science-fiction story in the guise of a children's movie.

One of Pixar's best, really great little film. I did find the use of live action actors in the video footage strange though, since the people out in space were rendered more toon-like.
Also, was I the only one laughing out loud at having Sigourney Weaver voicing the "airlock disposal" announcement?
Plus Wall*E is Mace-based!

I actually loved that distinction because the point was to distance the toons from the live action humans. They didn't want you to associate the "fatties" with the live action people because they weren't as hopeless as the live action people were, as the end of the movie showed.

I really enjoyed this movie. Visually speaking, the renderings of Earth with all that trash was unbelievably well done. The 2001 references were fun, especially the pod. WALL-E was of course adorable, but I was surprised to find there there was an even better and more adorable character in the film: MO. MO is like, the greatest thing ever.
I felt the message of the film was a little heavy handed, but it is a children's film after all, so I can forgive it.
This is for sure in my top five of Pixar.
