It's supposed to be set seven years later and the focus is on the sister. Sounds kind of interesting, but I have a wait and see attitude on this. I loved Donnie Darko, so I hope that this works out.

I hate to be negative, but this sounds like it won't be any good at all. One of those Strait-to-DVD flicks.
I could be wrong, but it's kinda hard to recapture what was done in the original. It's like making a sequel to Pulp Fiction.

The first film is IMO a "one-of-a-kind" film and I can't see how this sequel can be good in any way.

So to set the record straight, here's a few facts I'd like to share with you all - I haven't read this script. I have absolutely no involvement with this production, nor will I ever be involved.
