For some reason, all the best models seem to get 3/4 finished and then "something comes up" like real work, and they never get completed.

Long time no update, I told you I would finish it just... well its my long term project I kinda lost momentum with this model, I had the model looking how I wanted I just couldnt get the texture and shader to work. Now ive learnt abit more about Maya shaders I have started to play around with this again.
Its still a work in progress but im quite excited by the results, even at this early stage.

What happened to this thing? It was soooooooooooo close to ILM model i prob couldnt tell the difference, pleaaaaaaaassssssssseeeeeeeee come back!

Great model! How did you create the material to his skin? He just needs more rinkles and stuff. Did you ever try using ZBrush? I downloaded a yoda model and Zbrush-ed it and it looked incredible. I can only imagine how awesome yours would look like.

one problem ive noticed with your yoda. I think his features are to exaggerated. His forhead and mouth stick out a little too much, and he looks kinda like a football player. Keep working on it, that model's incredible.
