Oh my god, I almost completely misunderstood the question---you confused me to heck

But then I realized what the world you were talking about.

Since you've already got the hand from the biped, just link the gun to the Biped hand, first, place the gun in the correct position, then click the link/attach tool (button at the top near the left side of the screen) with the gun selected, click and drag from the gun to the Biped Hand, if you do it correctly you'll have a dashed line going from your cursor and then once you let go of the mouse the object you linked it to should blink.

lol its is a bit confusing so I'll say it again...

I've got a biped and a gun. I want the gun attached to the right hand so whenever the right hand moves, the gun will stick to the hand. So I need to make the bipeds hand into the parent and the gun into the child.

Whilst im here, there are two problems...

1) I cant make both hands attach to the gun

2) I've got the animation of the biped shooting his gun and then he's supposed to get hit by a bullet and fall over. Well everything looks good except for when I select his whole body and try to rotate it, everything rotates and the biped looks spastic. I tried grouping the biped and it worked, but then when I moved it down to animate the falling, it wouldn't animate. The biped just stayed in its new position (and yes Auto key WAS on)

Please help!

I did understand the question though, basically, at the top of the screen (along with all of your Move/Rotate/Scale buttons) there is a button for Link/Attach with your gun selected, click the Link button, then click the gun and drag onto the right hand of your biped, then when you move the right hand, it'll move the gun as well. Now to place the left hand also on it, I would use a Position constraint, up at the top there is a menu (I believe it's called Character?) anyways, it has a list of constraints there, use the position constraint from the left hand to the gun and when you move the right hand, it'll move the gun and move the left hand with it.

As for rotating the biped, try locking the feet/hands (it should be in the tab with all of the Biped options). which will force it to keep them in the same position until you add a keyframe to unlock them.

If this isn't easy to understand I'm sorry I would be more specific but I can't load up the program right now to do that.

Just make sure you link the gun to hand only after you applied the physic modifier (if you use physic), or the gun will be considered as a bone in the auto-skinning process, and will create a useless link you'd have to disable. Did that mistake many times, like linking eyes objects to the head bone before applying physic modifier.

I thought you just used a large amount of friction between the 2 objects.?.

What in the world are you talking about?

Friction has absolutely nothing to do with what this thread is talking about.
