I recently decided to start getting into 3d modeling; I had messed around with it a little bit in Lightwave, but decided to order Max. So, I ordered it and bought a set of tutorials on how to model a firefly from 3d palace. I'll post the WIP's here.

Unfortunately my website is down, so I have to use imageshack for the moment.

One thing though, you do know that the 3D-Palace tutorial for the ship is incredibly incorrect right?

The Lighting is just an HDRI map and the model was rendered in Mental Ray. Hopefully, with school ending soon, I can find some time to complete this thing!
