Just tried http://www.scifi3d.com/ and it looks down. Please tell me this is a temporay problem.

That will NEVER happen. Even if I think I"m gonna die I will turn over the site to somebody.
I'll try to. I have thought about stuff like that actually. So there is a plan in place. But you know anything could happen of course.
Apparantly, a site backup had stalled and caused the problem. All is well now.

yeah, it is still down. Bummer. Since I cant acess my other comp, I am lost withought any models. I would networkly connect the comps, but I need to be on the other comp to do so, and it is in my parents room, and they are sleeping. When will scifi3d be back up again? If not, could anyone send me a droid starfighter

Any news on when and if the site is going to be back up? Lost all the models from the site during a hard disk nightmare a couple of weeks back.

I have a complete backup of scifi3d if anyone is interested, though I only have the LWO, OBJ, and 3DS meshes. Never used Max in my life so I didn't bother to make any backups of the max files.

I'd be interested in all things Star Wars but I would imagine that would cause you some problems. I would imagine that a good few hundred MEGS.
Fingers crossed it'll be back up shortly. Will back up the files myself this time. Kicking myself for not doinf that in the first place.

actually, dont worry. I went to google images to look for a picture of coruscant. It forwarded me to scidi3d. And it worked. Scifi3d is back up. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A site backup was locking it up the past couple of weeks. I told them to just stop the backup process and I'll do it manually. So it's all just temporary with the problems.
