Engine Glow

Hey i was wondering if someone can help me add space ship engine glows. Ive been trying to figure this out over an hour now. The easiest way i found is to make omi lights, but make them small. Then add a glow to them. I made everything look nice, like an engine glow.
Now the only problem though is i can't find a way to attach the light object to the rest of the ship. So when i make the ship move around, the lights dont move with it. I have a photo to show you.
As you can see in the photo. The bottom left has the glows rendered. You can see how i put the lights inside the engine, but how do i attach these lights. It wont let me attach these lights to the rest of the ship.

I'm not sure to understand tour issue, but if you link the light omni at the Ship, the lights will follow it.

Sorry i'm new to the program. But i used LinkedXForm and connected the light to the ship. That seemed to work. I just need to work on the light now. It looks up close, but when it gets farther its to bright.
Thank you though.

there are many ways to generate glows....
you can do then by rendering the glow generator (sphere or something) as a seperate layer and add glow in post ---> After Effects
Or make lights, use the glow function, some other efects functions .... etc.....
so there's a lot of way to create glows...
