It's not that far out, and it's still awesome... LEGENDARY, in fact.
What's not to love about running around a maze in the dark shooting each other?!
I'm not convinced you need to go to the Whiskey Museum for anything, either. You just need some Scotch, and a local. Whiski on the Royal Mile has an excellent selection of malts.
Any volunteers? 
EvieSolo and I will probably join you on the Saturday, at least.

Thanks for that Suzi, as time is getting short does anyone have a preference for a meeting point. I suggest the base of the Scott Monument on Princes Street!

We have two Ewoks, we can re-enact the battle of Endor.
I can also recommend Mary King's Close, but you should book in advance...
There's St. Giles' Catherdal as well, if you want to see the National Covenant, for example. It's free and on the Royal Mile, not far away from the Castle, which is great, too.

Okay... I'm going to book the LaserQuest. I'll try to book the whole thing for a couple of sessions (about 40 minutes), looking for something starting about 3-5pm.
What I really need are NUMBERS. So, if you want in, PM me.

As much as LQ is fun I'm sure our visitors would rather do and see something that they can't in their neck of the woods! I suggest we start at the Castle and take it from there! All ideas taken on board though, if enough people want to go questing then that's cool!

As JED1 says, I'll be in the group not attending Laserquest. Tis a lot of money being spent to come up to Edinburgh this weekend for me (and you won't believe how much trouble it's gonna be getting back on Sunday lol - my head is spinning). It's my first time in Edinburgh, so I am well up for seeing the unique places it has to offer, and chilling with both FF's people, but personally not interested in LQ at all - I'd be up for such an event on another occasion, just not for me this time. But please don't let that stop the ones who are adamant on going - there may just be two groups splitting up for some of the meet.

Just been talking to Suzi this morning about some things we may do for those arriving on Friday night (that so far includes Suzi, myself and Coz). I'll be there from about 4pm-ish, Suzi a bit later, but we are thinking of going on this - http://www.mercattours.com/haunted-underground-experience.asp - for 7pm, then getting some food (Indian, this place - http://www.suruchirestaurant.com/index.htm ). The tour can be up to 2 hours (£10 per person, less if you do the shorter version).
Does anyone want to do this on Saturday instead? Because if there is a small group interested, we'll do it Sat not Fri.

What time are people planning on arriving on Sat? Tim, Coz and myself will be there from Fri night anyway; Jase and Sie arrive at 12.13pm........does anyone else know what time they intend on arriving?
George's suggestion of meeting at the Scott Monument is a good idea, so I'll go along with that.
