Hey, I hope Yvette mentioned I was interested if possible in sharing with you guys. I really want to go to C4, but cannot afford to stay on my own and a lot of my friends aren't gonna make it this time. sad

So anyways, but Yvette has met me irl, and I'm not TOO scary, and I would of course pay my share.

I also love flying, though I haven't done a whole lot of it, only since this summer. tongue

Last I heard, Jon was getting his own room, so we don't need to worry about him. I don't even think its in the same hotel or area. tongue

In regards to flights, I have very little experience, but I had a TERRIBLE experience with Northwest. It cancelled my flight, didn't notify me, rescheduled me, didn't notify me, I had a day knocked off my trip, they were rude about it, it was a nightmare. My mom's boss at work told her his experience with Northwest was just as terrible.

I personally fell in love with Air Canada, but I imagine they don't go to LA. tongue Short of that, I'll prolly fly southwest.

Here's a little bit more on the Disneyland part (these are only the adult prices for 2006, and I would bet that they will probably go up a few more dollars for 2007)

Single-Day Theme Park Ticket: 63.00
(You get to choose which theme-park to spend the day at...Either DisneyLand, or Disney's California Adventure)

1-Day Park Hopper Ticket: 83.00
This will let you hop back and forth between both parks

Now if we do decide to do this, would we want to spend more than one day here, or just try to cram as much in as we can handle for one day? Of course, the ticket prices almost double for every day added.

Also, here is their blurb about Group Rates
Disneyland Park and Disney's California Adventure Park offer discounts for groups of fifteen or more from a qualified non-profit organization. For detailed information and prices, please contact our Group Sales Office at (714)956-6860.

Because of finals the following week, I don't think I'll get any extra time for Disneyland. I'll only have the time for the convention. sad
Seems like a waste since I am going to be in the area and I want to go to Disneyland SO SO SO bad. Stupid school. plain

I was thinking about the only way we would be able to squeak in one day is to *GASP* miss one day of CIV...and I'm not sure if any of us want to chance that, lol.

Plus, on the money that it will take to get in for one day you could use for CIV goodies instead grin

Personally I wouldn't mind going myself, but...it would probably have to be either before CIV starts or after it ends. I'm betting that every day of CIV will be jammed packed with things to see and do.

Speaking of Walt Disney, StarWars.com just updated their main website with this tidbit. If this makes its way to Walt Disney Land in time for CIV, then I will definitely go.
