I don't recall Padme or Leia wearing armor in the films... 
LOL!
I really have no clue though.
A stormtrooper costume would almost be fun since I could drive R2 around and no one would be the wiser. the only thing is, I don't want to become a walking container. I leave that up to R2.

Still looking at the costuming book! No luck! And no, no gold bikini's for me!
If nothing else, I'll bring some R2 parts to work on.
Yvette, have you seen any of the ANH Leia costume patterns that Simplicity came out with a year or two ago? I know that Pacific Fabrics has a ton of older patterns sometimes.

I wish I could have arrived earlier, but it was very pleasant talking to fellow Star Wars fans. The location, however, gave my parental unit a navigation nightmare.

Meeting Notes Time!
Sorry I'm a couple of days behind. It's been HOT and I've been working. Anywho, here's a summary:
- I was super happy that a whole 7 members attended! Besides me, we also had JediYvette, AmmersVI, DetShogan, JumpinJax, MariahJSkywalker, and kecen.
- Despite the want for it, absolutely no costuming occured. A bit of taping and gluing was done to an R2-in-progress, but otherwise, we mostly just sat and chatted.
- I was going to work on a new charter. Turns out we have one. Need to find it!
All in all, it was hot out, and our room was air conditioned, and I for one was not motivated to do much since I worked late the night before. Oh well, there's always next month!
BTW, I took a few pictures, and most were blurry. I hearby refuse to make any more pictures.
