JumpinJax posted: I've been working on making items for fanfilm use over the last year, and this one came to me when I thought about arming stormtroopers inexpensively. I vac-form already so it made sense to create some molds to form blasters when I need them. Props break afterall, and I can't afford to go shopping every time that happens. So I did it! After building a preliminary object, I cast it up and made forming molds, and they turned out really great! I used a real sterling grip on the object, and castings of a friend's sterling for the barrel tip and stock handle, the rest is built of real world items from Home Depot. My first pull showed a few flaws, they're already fixed I've also made molds for the counter box, T-Tracks on the sides, and the scope. (edit: forgot about the clip on the side, made that too! This makes a great and LIGHT alternative to pricier replicas that I couldn't fix as easily/make another of. Seriously, they seem to weigh nothing! I'm going to put the dimples along the barrel, then we can cut out the holes if desired for that authentic look of a real Sterling! Just thought I would share here, hope you like how it's going. I'm calling it the Starlite, lightweight and of the stars

Forgiveness is divine, but to deny forgiveness forces others to face the consequences of their actions.
