Jean - YES!!! they're the really nice ones that you and i like!!!  they kinda started disintegrating after i used them for a few more things...
DE - black, heels (preferably low heels) that look nice and classy  well, if you rmb what my boots looked like at the costume parade, i'm looking for a pair that resembles those...
*Crosses fingers* hope you guys can come across something that matches what i hope to get when you go shopping! i really have no time now what with promos and a LOT of other stuff going on at the same time...

For those interested in going for Cloths Shopping, will this Thur, 13th Oct do?
Meet at Bugis MRT Station around 2pm and we'll look around at Bugis area (behind Bugis Village aka where those People's Park Shopping Centre Cloths shops moved to), Arab Street and maybe also a quick tour of the Costumes Shops in the area.

hi fellow fans and friends
I am new to this board, just discovered it. I have been dabbling in custom EL sabers, and recently started on my Jedi robe and sleeveless vest. Just for fun, and trying to get a fan film done asap. Thanks for being kind! I appreciate it! Longtime fan, but only recently started on these "toys" and stuff. Guess age catching up and with such a transient world, better to have some harmless fun when we are still able. I am eagerly awaiting my costume this weekend, should be ready with pics then. Still working on electronics and such, and hopefully come out with a whole range of pseudo gadget props that "work" - meaning with dials, displays, lights and sounds.

Sure! My film will be on enlightenment and meditation, a more contemplative version of fan film, not too much fighting, and will involve mind dialog, and some degree of telepathic conversation between different knights and monks. I will be playing a Jedi philosopher (much like my real world person).
I will be developing the script, and of course can work in some roles for fellow friends here. :-)
My robe pics are up (low res only) at www.blogmonk.com. Shot it on timer myself, and so not ideal. Will get short movie segments done asap.

I am very humbled by your kind words. I am really just an old man la! :-) Very grateful for you guys being appreciative. Let me get cracking on my script slowly, since from now to mid November I have to work really hard for a new corporate client. However, I have some thoughts, and hope to pen them down in my pocket notepad along the way. Will keep you folks posted.

PS - There will be down the road, a website dedicated to the development of the plot, and eventually a fictional novel. However, to NOT step on rights issues, the story will feature monks and knights, but make no reference to the official SW pantheon. The story will take place in an alternate universe of Asian knights and monks (meaning all of you and me and my brother). :-)
