ROTS DVD delayed till 3rd week Nov?

This is whatTower Records and Gramophone tell me on phone. TR also said some prob. with Lucasfilm on this matter. This is the news today when GL open the Animation Studio.  Weird!

Only for Region 3 or will it affect the Region 1 that we "directly" get from US?

According to VideoEzy, where they are now taking preorders for the region 3 version(SGD$26.90), it arrives 17 Nov, with this date subject to change. Probably delayed to coincide with the exhibition. I'm hoping that LFL is not withholding region 1 from shipping to singapore just for this.
If anyone spots the region 1 anytime soon, please sms me at 91900781. Thanks. Maybe someone could help me to buy it online.

Actually, if anyone sees the ROTS dvd earlier or at sale anywhere, we should all make it a deal to tell everyone in this forum. Don't you all agree?
Don't say 'earlier' is impossible...I got the Trilogy Region 1 DVD a week earlier at sim lim last year  ...

Well, so much for my fears. I just got it from Gramophone (Int'l Plaza).  Can't wait to test it out!
Funny thing, yesterday (thinking of the delay or so i thought) my neighbour (on below floor) was playing ROTS on the 1st, and got a shock. I guess someone was even more desperate then I, looked for it and got it on date. SW fans are everywhere I guess!

Gramophone has a few branches in Singapore...
1) Specialists' Shopping Centre, #01-18 (the building opposite from Centrepoint housing John Little's)
2) Capitol Centre, #01-02 (near City Hall MRT Station, used to be the Music Warehouse shop)
3) OUB Centre, #01-09A
4) International Plaza, #01-35
5) Paragon, #B1-27 (this is their newest shop)
Personally, I still prefer the shops at Capitol Centre and Specialists' Shopping Centre

LOL in Australia I saw all these signs in all the supermarkets and departmental stores and stuff that said ROTS was coming to DVD on Nov2... *shrugs* Oh well. XD

In all my life of buying dvds, I have never heard of any mass-release dvd selling out. ROTS dvd, which is a mass-release dvd, should still be selling at stores everywhere.
From my experience, the DVD which sold out the fastest is the localized version dvd of FF7: Advent Children (extremely horrible english subtitling). It was selling only at $16.90 at only one store I know.

The one at Specialist has moved further up Orchard Rd to Scott's shopping center. It's at basement level, next to a food court.
