You don't have anything special *against* the Prequels, but they'll never do it for you like the Classic Trilogy. I mean, the farmboy, the scoundrel, the princess, the Dark Lord... nothing can ever, EVER compete with that.

You've seen the movies, sure, but the real action is in the books. I mean, how weak is Vader when compared to someone like Grand Admiral Thrawn? And Leia pales beside Mara Jade. How could such mediocre movies have spawned such great books? And if the movies contradict them, then the answer is simple--the EU is the final word in the matter for you
