	Hello all, hope you don't mind me taking the initiative, but I thought maybe a thread where all meets and events can be posted in could be useful, so we don't have to search through all the planning threads. 	I will be off to uni in october and will be in portsmouth from then untill june/july. I'm hoping to get English Heritage membership so I can go to places. 	I see you guys are going to Berkeley Castle the second weekend, bummer. I'm there with my group the first weekend, 22-23. Buckinghams Would have been great to see you guys but I dont think I can make the second weekend as well. Its a good event. Usually Destrier (a medieval group with horses)put on a good show in the arena but in previous years there hasnt really been a full scale battle re created. Of course the castle is great to look around as well, and the best bit is we get to sleep there! So if you do swop weekends, come and see us! Our badge is the stafford knott, otherwise known as the yellow pretzel! Oh and theres always this , this weekend. Tewkesbury Its like Berkeley but Bigger and Better and its Free entry. Its the biggest re-enactment event of the year with a massive market, Beer tent and a battle. We are here all weekend camping on Bloody meadow! -----signature----- I'm going to C4 !

	I propose a meet to go see Pirates of the Caribbean 2! It's going to be a great film and I expect a lot of people will want to see it, so why don't we all meet up and see it together? If people have Orange mobiles we might be able to get everyone in for half price, if we haven't got enough then we can at least get some kind of discount on tickets. It has to be a wednesday though as the 2 for 1 is only on wednesdays. We don't have to see Pirates, but I expect that'll be the one that most people will want to see.
