Well, considering I achieved raw pork chops, sloppy toad-in-the-hole and gravy thick enough to plaster the walls with... I'll leave you to decide that one!

Done that with chocolate before - I tried to melt it in the microwave in a glass bowl. Next thing I knew, the kitchen was filled with smoke and the choclate was alight...  Needless to say, we had to throw the bowl out...

It wasn't too bad for me, though I could taste the ash for another couple of meals.
We had an experiment of putting a baguette that had "do not microwave" on the packaging into the microwave. It sort of smouldered, so we took it outside and poured water onto it. It seemed to go out... eventually!

Nice...
My housemate's boyfriend (who also happens to be our Landlord's son), decided it would be a good idea to put a vinyl in the microwave... We ended up with a very unusual fruit bowl... Then there was the time he put a bar of soap in it... I'm quite surprised it still works, really...

haha. I always wanted to try metal. Unfortunately, I've never quite dared.

I've done metal, well a foil tray actually... Lots of very pretty blue sparks and mini forks of lightning...
Not tried grapes though... *Wanders off to Sainsbury's to buy some*
I do know someone who microwaved a hard boiled egg though... Apparently they explode...

Oooh. So it didn't total the microwave? I really wish I had a working one now. (No, the damaged one I do have was not damaged by weird stuff being put in it!)
Grapes apparently burst and send this sparkly gas out. Someone described it as plasma, but I doubt it's THAT hot. D:

No, my parents realised what was happening and stopped it after a few seconds. They then reprimanded me for being a complete twit... (I would like to point out that I didn't do it deliberately, honest!  )
Ooo.. That sounds exciting.. Must try that sometime (or maybe suggest to the Landlord's son that he should to do it... That way I don't get into trouble when the microwave explodes...  )

And yeah. Do suggest it to the Landlord's son. "Oh, I heard that grapes look really cool if you put them in the microwave... "
Actually, I bet someone's done it. I think I'll look on youtube!
Edit: Well I never. It is actually a plasma. Caused by arching electrical currents superheating the grape. Nice!
