Because we've been talking about going to Bath or Bristol for a while now, time to actually plan it, eh
So, when, where, how, etc

Which one's easiest to get to from Portsmouth? Assuming I don't get swamped with work I should be able to go one weekend. There's also what we plan to do. Bath has the Roman Baths, but I don't know what Bristol has.

They're both easy to get to from Portsmouth. Just catch the Portsmouth - Cardiff train, they're both on the same line. Bath Spa and Bristol Meads

Bristol I believe has Lord Admiral Nelson's flagship HMS Victory in which he won the Battle of Trafalgar.

Bristol has the science museum and planetarium, that's pretty good fun but a bit pricey :/ It also has a nice big Forbidden planet Bath is a lot nicer place to wander around as it's a pretty town, and yup it has the baths, not sure what else really! Well there's a Jane Austin museum, not sure it'd be your kinda place though :P

So, Bristol counts counts as South England. I really need to work on my geography of England and the rest of UK.
Anyways, I'll have course fieldwork in/near Bristol in October and maybe in November as well. When will this Bath/Bristol meeting take place? I'd like to come if I can, as an (almost-official) FF Croatia and soon-to-be FF London invader.

It'll be whenever we can decide when it'll be
We've got Collectormania at the end of October, so this will either be early October or early November, or just be continually postponed until we get 3 people together at the same time

Milton Keynes, a bit North West of London. It just falls into South We did several meets there before becoming Official. Matt (Tice) usually has a stall there, not sure if he is this time though.

I found out today that I'll probably have a fieldtrip to Bath as well. Sometime during the term...
