I'll drop by Trafalgar Sq after 12, just in case anyone shows up, cause I need to venture a bit south, to stash up on some comics in the Forbidden planet, which is quite close. 	So that means we're safe for this year, right? Sorry I haven't been around (the usual coursework excuse, I'm afraid) and I won't be able to make anything due to my money running away... 	We're safe until July. 	You can put yourself up for re-election you know. As for merging with London, Hal and I are both currently against the idea. The South is in nowhere near the dire straits that the Welsh chapter was in when we merged it with the Midlands. Any talk/decision on even just the possibility of a merger is a long way off yet. 	Well, I probably won't run for re-election (I'll be out of the country for a month, so not the mark of a good CR anyway ), and as I said, if we were to merge with London we'd get more members able to meet up, because the South lot are all over the place and unable to get to anywhere else. Though I think we could split the South into pieces. Otto's original idea was the 3 areas (North, West, East). We've had one meet in West (Salisbury), two in East (Portsmouth) and two in North (Collectormania). I could see the East part becoming joined with London, the North bit maybe adding onto the Midlands (we don't have any active members from around there anyway now, IIRC), and the South-West could maybe rally around the old Plymouth chapter thing. But I'm being silly now. I can't forsee a meet happening anytime soon. Two months in a row I've tried to get something together, only for them to fail. I don't see why it would change suddenly. And of course, when everyone else finishes school/college, I'm going abroad for a month, so I won't be any help then either.
