Was at Rivers outlet store in Mildura on Friday and got a pair of bargains! Addiesclone got herself an awesome pair of brown long boots (her new Jedi Boots!) for $13!  So when she found them I went for a look.....and you know, I may have to have a set of Jedi Robes now, as I now have a long pair of brown boots that cost me a whole $15!!! WOOT!!! Working on an Ewok for Dots, but thats it for now, no more time.

Excellent! It starts with the boots, really. lol My boots were the first part of my costume Bought them months earlier. lol
Oh and here's MS's new jedi robes:

We used the same style of undertunic and he used his Luke Bespin belt. I'll make him a generic jedi belt soon though, so he can wear either of them.
The undertunic fabric is something I got from Spotlight the year before last, it's a nice soft linen look cotton. I used it for my undertunic and my jedi pants. The overtunic and tabards are linen from a local store in Adelaide. The pants are just cotton homespun from Lincraft, and the wool is that $40 a metre stuff from Lincraft. It is very very thick wool, and it is heavy, but it's not too heavy. It still flows well when he walks. I used 7 metres of it, using my tutorial pattern: http://www.starfirephoenix.net/jedirobe.htm
The boots are those general costume boots you can buy online from ebay from the US. They cost around $80 including shipping and we don't expect them to last long (as I've heard bad things about them), but they held up well for a day. MS has large feet, so it was our only option at the moment

Thankyou Sweetie, I couldn't believe how many times I was stopped for photo's on Sunday !! It's the most Jedi love I've ever recieved
The robes look awesome, this photo doesn't do it justice, the robe looks black, but it's a beautiful dark brown & looks great !!

I liked it- Can't believe how much Jedi love I got at Armageddon though int he Generic Jedi- the sort usually reserved for Vader ! I did get called Obi Wan, but then again when I was wearing Luke ESB I got called Indiana Jones..so you know...Eastern Staters

Well here's one that was done mostly by the awesome Adalia-Durron and Obi-wan_Toddi. They did the tunic, the cloak and the black belt. The tabbards and maroon belt were done by me.
I didn't get any pictures of me wearing it by myself, so here's probably the best one from the Halloween party I wore it to
