	OK, I dont know how many of you already know this, but I found out more information about it tonight and thought I'd share it with everyone... While playing football on Sunday, I suffered concussion and was knocked unconscious for a few minutes. Last thing I remembered was running back to my position on the field after the opposing side kicked a goal, then the next thing I knew I was waking up on the side of the field on a stretcher, wearing a neckbrace and blood pouring out of my mouth. The Ambulance arrived a short time after and whisked me away to the Royal Adelaide Hospital, where the doctors wanted to do a CT scan, x-rays, the works. They suspected a broken jaw, damaged vertebrae, broken neck, brain damage, just about everything under the sun. But there I was saying 'can we please get this bloody neck brace off?!' So after a good amount of time in the hospital with the doctors making sure my neck was fine and deciding x-rays and CT scans would not be necessary, my brother was given a checklist to make sure I didnt suffer any of the listed symptoms and I would need to be monitored by him for the next 24 hours. One of the doctors also wanted to stitch up the 3cm gash across the inside of my mouth but another doctor advised him that it would heal better without it. (which currently leaves me with a swollen and very sore mouth, drinking and eating through only one side of my mouth) By the time I was home, the only thing I could think about was what in the world had happened to me. I had absolutely no recollection of getting hit or anything. I spent Monday and Tuesday at home, and while I tried to rest, I couldnt wait to go to training and ask my teammates what had happened on Sunday. So tonight, I headed out of the house for the first time since Sunday night and asked around. I couldnt find anyone who saw what had happened with their own eyes, but a couple of them told me that our Full Back had seen it. So I waited for him to arrive. He finally shows up to training and I ask him for the full story, with him going 'you seriously dont remember??' TURNS OUT, the ball spilled to the bottom of a marking pack and I got to it and quickly handpassed it off. Too easy right? Not necessarily. So out of nowhere, the other sides Full Forward rushes at me after I've already got rid of the ball and smacks me across the face with his elbow raised, sending me to the floor. Because I was on the other side of a pack and the ball had already moved on, the umpire didnt see it happen and the free-kick, and more importantly the report, went ungiven. And to make matters worse, when I was stretchered off the field, the other team's huddle thought it would be nice to laugh at me being carried off while patting the culprit who did it to me on the back!
