I'm trying to decide on if i want to buy the whole set in HC or PB, what's the general consensus on this?

you'd like them, especially all the Mando stuff Karen Travis writes
as for the covers- I buy thm as they come out. The first, middle & last books in the series are all hardcovers, the rest soft. Unless you wait ages for them to come out out in soft covers, it'll be a while before you get reading. I reckon go get LOTF Betrayal & get it into ya asap
Betrayal has already been released in soft cover too

Books are something that I'm having trouble keeping up with, I've got nearly everthying that's been printed (including all the kids books) but lately because of all the flood of toys thats been dumped onto the market & the fact that most of the books are still easy to get several years later, I'm about 6-7 books behind the series...
I'm still trying to finish off reading The Unifiying Force, at first that story arc lost me because it was just dragging on.

Thanks, i'll look into that soon. I think the only problem i have is that i am finding them going on ebay in complete sets, in either hardcover or paperback. I think my best bet is to wait for invincible to come out, then flip a coin to see if i buy the whole set in one go as either PB or HC.
you should REALLY consider reading teh republic commando books, i can promise you it will be worth it.

I've just started reading Darth Bane and I love it, 115 pages in a sitting. It's old I know but I only buy books second hand cause I'm a tight butt And living in the back end of the word I don't see many SW books.
