This has been drafted by the SAFF Senate.
All members are expected to read & post their acknowledgement of having read & understood the SAFF code.
Anyone failing to do so will NOT be invited to attend RL SAFF functions.
SAFF CODE OF CONDUCT
Dress:
We do not have a set dress standard as long as it falls within the confines of decency (defined as being without profane or vulgar features or statements and must be viewable by young children)...
Relationship to member:
This limited to either a close relative or very close friend. You are responisble for the people you bring along, their bad behaviour will reflect badly on you.
You want to be able to trust the person your bringing along to behave in a appropriate manner...
SAff recognizes that its costumes represent characters
from the Star Wars films and as such, costume-wearers carry the responsibility of portraying these characters professionally and tastefully while in public. For these reasons, all members are prohibited from using foul language or behaving in an inappropriate manner while in costume OR Representing the SAFF in Public.
SAFF is dedicated to creating an environment of
friendship, good will and trust. To this end, the SAFF will not tolerate the practice of sexual misconduct or sexual harassment by its members.
Members who engage in such conduct will be subject to disciplinary action, including being banned from the web forum and SAFF public / private events.
This policy applies to all members and friends / relatives.
It applies not only to unwelcome conduct that violates state and federal laws concerning sexual harassment but also to inappropriate conduct of a sexual nature.
All members / friends / relatives attending events must read agree with the Code of Conduct

Read, understood and completely agree.
Be aware that instigating this sort of policy *may* require that it's reviewed and amended as necessary. Our work version of this has reached over 100 pages and it's still being altered constantly! Overkill in the extreme, I doubt ours will go that ridiculously far though 
I'm however a little confused to the 'logical flow' of the document (as to why it goes from dress to relationships of attendees to a more important 'code of conduct' etc). Perhaps it should start with who the SAFF is, what we stand for etc. Once you go down the path of this sort of thing, it (maybe) needs to be relatively all encompassing.
The Rebel Legion Charter ( http://www.rebellegion.com/about.asp?ID=8 ) , while waaaaaaay too ridiculoulsy long, probably could give a few more ideas as to what it could/should/might/mightnot include. Not that I can be bothered reading the whole damn thing, but some things are good (just as other bits are pointless/irrelevant/stupid).
A good start though as I think that everyone is generally aware of what is appropriate and what is not and will be quite happy to agree with what's there now
