If the air-conditioning was on, it wasn't working effectively enough!

oh that sucks, most costumes from what I've seen are usually quite hot. That might be something for them to work on for next year

No aircon from what I could tell, not even ceiling fans. I don't think we were the only ones who were hot, I imagine the SG1 were melting!

LOL true. SG1 seemed to have an arsenal at the front of their table
I have a few things to feedback (which I can do next week) about future quiz nights. Despite the warmth and a few other things, it was quite an enjoyable evening!

SP & I were looking forward to it. Quiz nights are fun, she's a bit better today, but still a long way from 100%.

If there's enough interest, perhaps Lynne will do another corset workshop. She's an expert on them.

The trouble is she does them when I cant attend, like the last one was all day Saturday, and with kids I simply can't do that, or in the evenings would be fine, but I have noticed them all out North. I cant warrant driving an hour to do a course, especially when I'd have to leave before Justifier gets home. Right now, doing a course is just too hard. I figure it would be easier to read an online tutorial and make a mockup first.

It's easy enough to put together a corset, the challenging part is the fit. A well fitted corset should be comfortable. I didn't go, but I think at the last workshop they started with a commercial pattern as a base, and got help with altering it to fit themselves. She drafted me a pattern a couple of years ago, and we did a bit of work on the mock ups to get it right.
