I feel myself posting in this a lot 
specially with a new footy season coming up *lol*
did anyone see in last night's game (Crows V Hawks) Tyson Edwards kicked a goal from beyond 50 & was clearly a super goal given 6 points ?
The umpires review the tape at the end of the quarter & ruled it as a regular goal despite him being out of the 50 ! 
ALL of the commentators were dumbfounded byt this !!
Good thing Adelaide didn't lose by less than 3 points.

Meh, they made up for it with a super goal not too long after ... don't knock the umps until you've tried it yourself. Yes, they make mistakes, but so do the players. It's not that easy ... trust me!
Adelaide was always going to win ... the juniors played well. Move along ... 
I didn't mind listening to Jason Dunstall commentate.

Even though I'm engaged to one, I still HATE the *@!#*#* !!!!

I have tried umpiring too, whilst not footy umpiring, I've umpired lower level cricket & also indoor cricket. To be honest I found cricket umpiring not relatively difficult..perhaps I should've followed it through more, but I found playing more fun
Footy umpiring might be different however

I'm following up whether hidden/withheld numbers can actually be identified from the phone company's end...I'm going to pursue this crap with all the legal force I can because the other options I have (because I'm very sure I know who the perpetrators are) aren't technically legal

Footy umpiring might be different however
Compared to footy umpiring, cricket umpiring is ridiculously easy. There's no stoppage in play while players appeal for a decision in footy. Two very different sports ... you simply can't compare them.

This is what people said when we lost the Chappell Hadlee series 0-3 to NZ.
Then we went and won the World Cup flawlessly for the 3rd time running.
When we lost the Ashes 1-2 to England? Next time we beat them 5-0.
So our batsmen havent been firing this summer, your point? Its happened before, you can be sure it'll happen again. But we'll come back from it. We are still the best outfit in the world, and it wont change anytime soon
