A note about depositing money for Relay for Life

Hi Guys,
Just to clarify some things. The deposit slips you have are for the Cancer Council accounts. Even though the slips have the team captains' name on them, we don't have access to the accounts or get to see any of the deposits.
All teams in the Relay are depositing into the same account so its best to make the deposits directly at a Bank SA branch, using the deposit slips you were given. That way the funds get tallied with our teams' totals. You also get a printed out receipt as proof of deposit.
If you've already made deposits using EFT let me know the details and I'll check with the Cancer Council that they've been correctly allocated. There is also a correct procedure for EFT which I'll follow up and let you know. Otherwise we'll get into a situation where the Super Saber says one thing and the bank another.
The saber is only updated on what you tell us you've raised or deposited. If you don't tell us, and almost half haven't at this stage, we don't know whats happening. We have no visibility of the Cancer Council accounts.
And its important to make your final deposits by COB on the Wednesday before the Relay (March 26)
