Funny, I read the books after ROTS, and can't find anywhere where it says Sidious and Vader wielding their own blades and killing THOUSANDS.
They resorted to using pawns. If the tides were turned. The Sith wouldn't stand a chance.

Thousands of Jedi were wipe out in minutes.... an army of "super soldiers".
firstly, there weren't thousands of Sith for Luke to wipe out, bickering between the Sith saw to that.
secondly, no one Sith wiped out thousands of Jedi
thirdly, Jedi weren't "super soldiers", they didn't have the numbers and never said they were soldiers & were betrayed by the Clones, their "brothers" they fought & died alongside the Clones & they turned on them because someone called out a number- mindless drones

A Lightsaber or a Blaster are weapons of destruction - an implement used to bring about the death of a victim (in most cases).
An Imperial Clonetrooper - see above for similar description.
Hitler didn't personally kill all those people but is considered the person responsible ? A harsh way to prove a point but the most effective way to get the message across.

see aforementioned argument, there weren't a thousand Sith to wipe out, the Sith fought themselves into extinction through their own need for power.
A being who has a need for power is a very dangerous individual, because they will stomp all over anyone & anything til they achieve it.

Power without purpose is pointless.
Democracy doesn't really work.. power is still really held by a few individuals anyway.. In Democracy freedom is held by those who can afford it....
Is the American Government system working ? Do you still believe that Bush actually beat Gore in the first election ? Power held by someone who could BUY it, it has been said....
Freedom promotes crime.
Don't get me started on civil libertarians....
As for the holocaust - i'm supporting the victims by stating that ALL involved were responsible. Not just those who committed the actual atrocities but those who ORDERED it were even worse... a soldier is supposed to follow orders, no matter what they are. It doesn't state in a soldiers training manual that if you consciously object to the order that it may be disregarded...
