I'm not fussed where we go, but it would be good if we could be somewhere we do have our own room. That's why the Snooty Fox has worked so well in the past - we had a lot of space there. I'm not sure we can get that elsewhere, but it's worth looking into at least

I really would like to keep with the suggestion of somewhere fun and different, but still with reasonable prices and a good atmosphere, (not that we don't easily create one all by ourselves, LOL )
I like the Royal Oak too. It's not very big but it looks really nice.

for the new peoples, SAFF Xmas in July is something SAFF's done for the last few(2 I think years) It's just a get together to dress all fancy like & have a meal together. There has been a secret Santa also where each participant buys a small present for someone- under $10
I like the idea of the private room we've had at the Snooty Fox, but we also had a private room at the Ed also, doesn't fuss me.

Personally, I'd vote for the Snooty...
It's closer (& geographically central).
The Ed was nice but just not the same....

We like the Snooty Fox as its a central venue for us and the food has been good as well.
However if we find another venue similar we wont be against changing.
P.S. Love the Bombay Bicycle club too.

From memory, I don't think that the BBC has a room large enough for us... has anyone been there lately? All I remember is the large open area and the small rooms.
