Probably not quite the stress with regard to numbers. As I said in previous post(s):
Board Room: 22 people - I'm assuming this is the room we've use before
Torrens Room: 30-46 people - a slightly bigger room on the same floor
So if we're pushing past 25, we can use the bigger room. With the slight growth in potential attendees with new members, hopefully this can be the biggest one yet
The info is all on their website. Funnily enough the wedding section has the most comprehensive details, but there are some contradictory details...although I'm sure personal contact with them would clarify specifics.
Finding out availability would be important I guess.

What i will do is ive everyone until the end of the week and will call the Snooty Fox to make our reservation.
Everyone going will receive a PM from me telling who is their secret santa.
There will be a $10-$15 limit on items bought.
Santa Alf will give out said presents on the night.
We'll be making up place cards and everything......Spiffy !
Neat Casual Dress plus your favourite collectible. After Dinner everyone will take turns by standing up and say a little something on why they chose that particular collectible as their favourite.
No....Toddi isn't a collectable.

The Torrens room from memory will hold up to 46, standing. They mean for tail parties/receptions, not sit down meals. Talk to the owners, they will clarify all this. The next room is way too big for us, but it was the Torrens Room we have been in before.
To help dark_obi_1. This is an annual event when we actually dress in our finery (not SW Costumes) and go out for a middle of the Year Formal Christmas celebration. From memory, you are looking at approximately $43 a head for a three course meal and drinks are extra to be purchased at the bar (not cheaply I might add, it is a posh place) It usually starts about 7pm and goes to about 11pm, and we have a secret Santa. You agree to be involved in that and the organiser will contact you with a name of a person you are buying a gift for. You spent about $10ish on a small token either fun/novelty or if you know the person well, personal gift and wrap it with their name on it. They are handed out on the night and you are not 'supposed' to reveal who gave who what! Which reminds me of some peoples 'lousy' reactions to their gifts causing others to be offended or hurt. This is supposed to be fun, lets keep it that way.

Ahh, so if it's the Torrens Room we were in before, their website says it can seat 30. I guess we probably won't go over that so it should be good...I hope

Do we know if they're definitely available on that date yet?
Edit: Just double checked - there IS a room at the BBC that holds 'up to' 70 if we have a problem with dates or numbers at the Snooty Fox. I purposely didn't delve deeper, the idea of a multi course meal at the BBC is making me drool... 
I wonder why they only told Alf that there were rooms for 12 (unless the big room is unavailable)..?
