But remember Lightsabers are a weapon too, but it's how you use them that make them dangerous or not. People kill people not lightsabers trained in combat ? well yeah, how can you kill a Sith with no combat training ? Once again, it's all about intentions and what you do with them. The Jedi served the Galactic Alliance as they served the New Republic & the Old Republic. They assist the government to keep the peace. 	Peace is a relative term... There was peace at the hands of the Sith, it was Luke and his rebels that were fighting the Legal and legitimate government... 	true peace is not obtained at the end of a blaster !! True peace is based on mutual respect from both sides. The Rebellion existed because it was concidered a last resort to gain freedom for the citizens of the galaxy.
