CanTeen City-Bay Fun Run-Sunday 21st September

After getting in touch with CanTeen I recieved this email:
Dear Dave,
CanTeen needs to find caring people like you to join CanTeen’s Raise More Than a Sweat team to take part in the City-Bay Fun Run and walk or run 3, 6 or 12km (if you are game) on Sunday 21st September. At the same time, we need you to commit to raising funds towards vital CanTeen programs to help young people living with cancer.
Over the past 2 years the need for CanTeen’s services has increased by 60%. We need to raise an extra $40,000 this year so we can continue to expand vital services such as our camps, recreational days, hospital visits and programs for Members like Michael. Michael is a vibrant, energetic 18 year old whose life was turned upside down when he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma (bone cancer).
During this incredibly difficult and emotional time Michael discovered CanTeen, and has ‘never looked back’
By participating or organising a team to join CanTeen in the City-Bay Fun Run on Sunday 21st September you will be helping raise vital funds to help young people like Michael. It is really easy for your team to get involved:
I can register us online if you want to be involved. Fees are:
3K( that's what I thought we'd do, unless others wanted to go further)
Adult $20
Child U18 $10
Family (2+2) $50
Concession $15
add $6 per person for the 6 & 12K
