A friend once told me that I have the gift of the silver tounge.
I never quite understood the term, until now even though she explained it
as an American phrase for "Great Speaker" in the sense that I could motivate
a group to war if I wanted to. The type of talk that gets the recipients all
fired up. I'm going to try it here.
I've read the posts, and I'll admit that I skimmed alot of the big ones as I have a short
attention span. The main jist of what I got, wasn't good and it was basically making you all
think the worst. Thinking the worst, eg - People resigning etc - is basically like giving up all
together. Like, as if you're going to roll over and don't care what happens.
Guys, I was brought to you by the off chance of seeing the SAFF poster with a Tie-Fighter and X-Wing
in the Student Lounge of Para Wast Adult Campus sometime earlier this year. I thought it was a
Star Wars Convetion, and I was going to bring a stack of Star Wars buddies of mine. Unfortunaly they all cancelled.
But when I got there, to Adelaide High School - I was like a kid in a fricken candy shop. Holy crap its DARTH VADER1
Is he really that friggen tall? Holy crap, this is simple friggen awesome! Those of you who heard me practically
running up and down the corridor saying this is awesome. Hell, I even bought some books from Adalia Durron. AND I HATE TO READ!
The videos that were played, Star Wars Fan Flix, Parodies, it was all simply awesome.
They were all about the same thing. STAR WARS. I'll say what I've said to _Master-Skywalker_ to you guys.
It was STAR WARS that brought us together. It was the common love of the story of a boy, a princess and a criminal.
It was the story of the fight between good and evil, as the galaxy had been taken over by a tyrant.
It was for the love of Star Wars that we call each other bretheran today.
Hell, I haven't been here for very long, and I feel this post is turning into a emotional speach.
Seriously guys, you guys are friggen awesome. But you guys are the best possible Star Wars intellegent conversation
I've ever gotten. That includes anyone from my own jedi academy clan.
Now, I know the past few days have had some SERIOUSLY LONG POSTS about crap that really could have been avoided.
I suggest we all pick up the pieces, forget the crap, and move on with the common interest in our minds that which brought
us together.
STAR WARS! STAR WARS! STAR WARS! STAR WARS! STAR WARS! STAR WARS! STAR WARS!
Lets stick to what we love guys, and you'll feel the reason why you joined SAFF.

Exactly. As I said to you. Every member is as vital as the next. Even if they hold a key position.
Without the members, its not a club. And if its not a club, its just a name.
Everyone here is as vital to the operation of this club as anyone on the outside could be if they knew.

Mate, I knew you found us because of the Open Day but I honestly didn't know to that extent what a great time you had. I am glad you had such a wonderful time. It was a bigger success than I could've hoped for considering how freakin' hot it was. It was to be a one off, but it was such a great day I would love to do another one next year also. It was a massive amount of planning & a massive amount of work but if we pick up just one great new member like yourself the whole thing is totally worth it...not to mention the amount of money we raised that day for the Cancer Council
