	Seeing as this years open day was such a hit, what did we raise? I think we cleared around $600 for the Cancer Council & this was on a day of 40 degrees !!! I would like to do another one next year, probably around a similar time. but next time make it even bigger & better !! Call me a dreamer, say I'm wasting my time, but I LOVE SAFF & I love doing work for the Cancer Council & I would love for this to be a huge event if possible, what I'm saying is I'd like to attract a big name Star Wars guest. I have been in contact with Lord VaderFF & he's given me contact details for: Sandi Finlay Richard LeParmentier Hans Jenssen Bonnie Piesse to start with, but also there's the possibility of Bruce Spence & even Jeremy Bullock I know what you're thinking, he's crazy, he'll never get anyone like that, but if you don't ask you don't find out & imagine if we did !! It's likely to get a big name we'll need a corporate sponsor to pay the guests expenses so any money we raise can go solely to the Cancer Council. I've talked to Star Col about possibly Cadbury coming on board & we're waiting a response from management. Star Col also had an idea to contact SAFM to see if they'd be interested in being involved, we wait to hear from them also. Of course, Sean Williams will also be most welcome back again next year also, he was awesome last time & this time will be able to talk about the Force Unleashed too. Anyway, it might all fall flat yet, these big names want big dollars usually, but all you can do is have a go, if it doesn't work it doesn't work, but can you imagine how great it could be if it did? It'd be great for us & it'd be great for the Cancer Council

	update: Jeremy Bullock is busy for the next 12 months & won't be able to consider coming to Australia, but he (Jeremy) suggested that he would be interested in doing a joint venture with us & Supanova Perth & Sydney ! I'll have a look for a smaller guest in the meantime. Is it 2010 yet ? what about now?

	have you ever thought about trying to get australian actors in the movies. Or better yet get some of the actors or directors of the new sw live action being filmed in Melbourne. Basically as a panel talking about the new series and giving info and the like.

	I think it would be great to get a guest over for an open day. It will help get SAFF out there more which could mean more events for us to raise money at. 	I spoke to Sean Williams today to invite him to next years open day & he's very much looking forward to coming out with us again & also to see if he knew of any other SW guests that I might be able to contact. He said he'll have a think & get back to me on that one.

I've spoken with Richard on several occasions via email and have met him in the flesh a few times, he's a very very nice guy.....I'd say those guys just caught him on a bad day.
