So, why do you have the U of A in your signature? And why, if you're the self-appointed meeting planner, did you not plan the first meeting? And why did you not attend the first meeting? Again, I really don't think it's your business if people plan to meet through this forum. Plan your meeting, if you like, but don't discourage others from planning theirs.

Jaster, honestly I don't see what the problem is. There have obviously been some problems in the past with actually having a meeting. If I were in charge, and this were the case, I would look for some help. Which is what I was trying to provide. Honestly this whole discussion seems quite childish. Man all I want to do is meet with other people and talk about the greatest films ever made, Star Wars!

Listen,
I didn't attend the first because of medical reasons. The reason I have U of A in my signature is due to the fact that, if you can read, it say Kappa Sigma, Gamma-Rho Chapter just before it. Not that it's any of your business, but that is because I happen to be a very good friend with a few people in that particular Fraternity. They have also invited me to join as soon as I enroll again. Now if you're going to question me so profusely, then I see it fit to do so likewise. Are you a sock of bobafettish75? Did you attend the first meeting? Did you plan the first meeting? Are you really 31? Do you really have a 4 year old daughter? Why do you feel it's unfair that someone who's been coming to this site for over 5 years to lead the meeting just because he's 20, when you've only been a member for half a month? Is it just because you're 31? Anyways, I didn't want it to come down to this, but you royally pissed me off. Why don't you take my advice from the last posts and calm down, K?

You know, I am quite sorry for what I've said. Just lets try to get around this, K?

You're right and I apologize also. I am not bobafettish75, but I know him. Just plan the meeting for whenever, please try not to have it near the U of A, and hopefully people will be able to make it this time.

Let's clear a few things up. ANYONE is allowed to plan a meeting. Usually its a group effort to decided when and where it will take place. UNLESS you are the ELECTED CR, you have no authority to make the decisions on the meeting place by yourself. The whole group has a say in this.
Now I appreciate everyone's intentions about this, but seeing the hostility in this group I'm not sure this is going to work.
I suggest everyone calm down. Stop making accusations and get the the heart of the matter.
When is the meeting.
Where is it going to be.
And who is coming.

I've spoken to b_b_n, and we normally hold the meetings at the Park Place Mall. Saturdays are good for me around 1-9 PM.
I suggest:
March 5, 2005
Park Place Mall
3:00 PM

Well, since this last meeting was a no-go, how about this Saturday @ the Park Place Mall in the food court in front of Game Daze @ 3:00 PM.
See you there...

Now you run into same problem I did. Everyone says they are interested, but no one will commit themselves, and if they do, they dont show. :-)
Having it near the UofA wasnt the issue with the previous meeting, it was people's inability to commit themselves that killed last meeting.

True... Well how about now!!!???
TUCSON FANFORCE *OFFICIAL* MEETING - MARCH
I would like to propose this idea:
The Meeting be held at the Park Place Mall, in the Food Court in front of Haagen-Dasz near Game Daze at 2:00 on Saturday, March 26, 2005.
Sound good... changes are always available if not!
