[Game!] The Prequel Creatures Tournament Q&A thread

We are gearing up for another fun game in the Southwest Regional Fan Force!
This time we will be running a Tournament of Creatures from Episodes 1-3:
Acklay
Boga
Reek
Eopie
Mustafar lava flea
Opee sea killer
Fambaa
Kaadu
Can-cell
Nexu
Ducks
Aiwha
Colo claw fish
Falumpaset
Nuna
Orray
We will start off with all 16 going to 8 then to 4 and then 2 and the overall winner.
Now, here is the twist. You could win VIPship (no OPPM!  ) for two weeks by guessing the winners at each stage. I will be listing the Creatures in their starting positions. From there you have to guess who will win at each bracket up to the final winner. The person who comes the closest to guessing the winners at each stage will win the VIPship. If by chance more than one person guesses the correct answers the first one who sent in a PM will win.
Guesses will be sent in via PM to Boga-The-Magnificent who will be your "host" during the Tournament.

It is a Tournament. Each animal will be pitted against another. You decide which one you like the best.
For example:
Dog
Mouse
Cat
Bird
Kangaroo
Horse
Hamster
Bunny
Pick four to remain.
You would vote on each match up and decide for each pair which one you like better.
Round One will be all sixteen animals. You vote for 8 to remain.

Monday will start the voting for the "Sweet 16" of the Tournament
So before Monday, PM me [Boga], the 8 creatures you want to make through this round.
Then on Monday everyone will vote for the 8 creatures they want to stay in the Tourney.

And how exactly is each creature determined to pass to the next round?
Is it more of a popularity contest, or an actual "grand melee" of sorts where all 16 animals are placed in an arena and we're supposed to pick which animals will survive the outcome? And will each animal be allowed to fight in the best of its abilities?
It's kind of important to know which, because in one instance, I can see TEH DUCK becoming supreme winner of all. In another, I can see the Colo Claw Fish winning because it's a huge ginormous beast with big tootheses. However, if they're all placed in a land-based arena it would probably suffocate before being able to kill much of anything.

It will be "open season" so to speak.
You pick the 8 animals you like the best.
This isn't an arena fight but more of a popularity contest. 
Does that answer the questions adequately?

Think of it as an episode of The Bachelor . . . except with Prequel Creatues . . . an you don't have to marry them.

Ok, so I get the we pick to go to the next round bit, but how do we guess which will win. I'm a bit confused on that part.

OK, you PM your picks to me. Then on Monday we will do the opening "round" for elimination.
For every Creature that you have guess correctly, you get a point so to speak. At the end of the tournament, whoever has the most guesses wins VIP colors. And I'm not talking just the blues and reds.
You can come up with some pretty awful combos

Okay, so we pick our top favorite 8 for this round? Is that what you mean?
And the top 8 will end up being the most popular 8 picked from everyone that PMs you?
And then you'll continue that for each round?

is this one of those games I should use a sock for.. will I be in danger of losing my right to post for a day if I lose the tournament.. I wouldn't care but I prefer to just use my own screen name.. but if I lose the right to post for a day.. I can't take care of meetings and the like..
