After seeing ROTS I was amazed by the utter cluelessness of Padme.
How could she possibly be shocked to find out that Anikin was evil?
After all... Did Anikin not massacre an entire village of sentient beings in an act of revenge in AOTC then confess the act to Padme?
Is there anyone more clueless than Padme?

i think she just thought the tusken thing was a fluke cause they killed his mom.
as to all his other evil deeds. i think she just didnt see them cause she loved him so much.

You know, I certainly can relate to those bad choices Padme made (although I was never knocked up). Love can make you blind to a persons faults, and I think that was what that scene was about on the balcony were she was brushing her hair. She was so wrapped up in her love for him and hadn't seen him enought (since he was away at the clone wars) she wasn't able to realize what he was becomming before it was too late.
